JONATHAN CAMPION

I am a British writer, translator of Russian and Ukrainian, and book editor. Since 2005 I have worked in the cities of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, and wandered through their wildernesses.

EURASIAN ECHOES is a collection of stories and photographs from my journeys through Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Turkey.

On these pages you can find my writing for Lonely Planet, Open Central Asia, The Geographer, The Calvert Journal and other publications; my translations of some books and poems from the Eurasia region; and read about my work as an editor of novels and other books by European and Asian authors, as well as books about health and positive psychology.

My photographs are available to buy as prints from my photography store

There is a little biography of my work and travels on my About me page. Get in touch with me at hello@jonathancampion.com.
